Technical RIDER

Please see below our technical rider for the gear we would typically bring with us to a performance and the equipment we will require to be provided.

Hunting Hearts is a 3-piece band who play their instruments live. For headline sets, we use triggers and keyboard to curate a fuller live experience. We also currently run tracks for 3 songs, controlled at the drum throne. Details of each musician and their specific instrument setups are included below. Minimum Venue Requirements:

PA System and XLR cables (5-8 depending on setup)

Stage monitors for each band member (4)

Vocal microphone stands (3)

Drum microphone stands and microphones

Event and ticket details available 2 weeks in advance to allow us to get the maximum out of our socials and encourage our fans to come

Load-in and sound-check times a week in advance to allow us time to make travel arrangements

Beck Lombardi - Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar - They/Them

Position:

Downstage Centre

Instruments and gear:

  1. Microphone for lead vocals, SM58 with XLR output

  2. One of several electric guitars

  3. Fender Deluxe 90w DSP Amp (Including Footswitch) which requires microphone-based amplification by standard amp mic (can also connect to a PA via a 6.2mm jack-to-jack cable)

  4. AND/OR Line 6 Pod HD500 Multi-Effects pedal that can be used in conjunction with amp, or emulating an amp with XLR out to the PA

  5. M-AUDIO Code 49 keyboard & stand with laptop running mainstage for keys and live triggers (XLR out via passive DI box, provided)

  6. Second microphone needed for keyboard position

  7. In-ear monitors (3.5mm jack to jack)

Connections Required:

1x standard double-male ended 6.2mm jack instrument lead (long) for guitar (supplied)

4x standard XLR output from microphone (vocals x2, keys and amp mic OR vocals x2, keys and amp emulator)

Other Requirements:

4x mains power socket required to power amp, pedals, keyboard and laptop

Lucy Rose - Lead Guitar - She/Her

Position:

Downstage Right

Instruments and gear:

  1. One of many electric guitars

  2. DSM & Humboldt Simplifier DLX amplifier pedal with cabinet emulation, part of a pedal board with self-contained power pack, containing 3 other pedals.

  3. Will rarely bring a Fender Tonemaster Amplifier and a larger pedal board containing 15 pedals, with self-contained power pack.

Connections Required:

2x standard XLR output (from DLX amp pedal)

or

1x standard XLR outputs (amp mic or XLR DI output)

Other Requirements:

1x mains power sockets required to power pedal board (or 2 if using amp and board)

Fenella Saunders - Drums - She/Her

Position:

Upstage Centre

Instruments:

  1. Acoustic 4-piece drum kit (3 stands)

  2. Laptop, running tracks via mini Behringer desk - XLR out to PA

  3. In-ears from mini desm

Connections Required:

Appropriate drum microphones for acoustic kit

1x XLR out for mixing desk

Other requirements:

2x mains power for laptop and mixer

Seat-high table, stand or chair to rest laptop and mixer on
